Every year, FuseSocial celebrates National Volunteer Week as a time to recognize and celebrate the generous contributions of volunteers and their positive impact to the community. National Volunteer Week is one of the largest initiatives within the Volunteerism department at FuseSocial! The goal of this week is to promote volunteerism in the community and more importantly, to acknowledge and appreciate the tremendous volunteers that make a difference.
Over the course of one week, we celebrate all of our remarkable local agencies, organizations, and groups that utilize the power of volunteers! We are proud to share and promote these local groups that do incredible things for our community, and today… we applaud them!
In 2020, we celebrated by:
Launching a Social Media campaign targeted towards celebrating local volunteers and organizations, #NVW2020 #CheersToVolunteers.
Delivering flowers to local Volunteer Managers
Partnering with local radio station, Mix 103.7, to VolunCHEER Volunteers via nominations from the community, with the potential to win a gift basket and other prizes!
Due to COVID-19, we were unable to host:
1. Heart of Wood Buffalo Awards!
