Every year, FuseSocial celebrates National Volunteer Week as a time to recognize and celebrate the generous contributions of volunteers and their positive impact to the community.
Volunteer Week is one of the largest initiatives within the FuseSocial Volunteer Resource Management Unit which includes a portfolio of promoting, developing and supporting volunteerism in the Wood Buffalo region. The goal of this week is to promote volunteerism in the community and more importantly, to acknowledge and appreciate the tremendous volunteers that make a difference.
This year, Volunteer Week had two events: Volunteer Managers Appreciation Reception and Timeraiser!
is an art auction with a twist! Instead of bidding money, participants bid volunteer hours to use in our community to support our invaluable social profit sector. It is a night of fine art, good company and great musical entertainment.
FuseSocial welcomes Shelby Marshall to our team as a Volunteer Coordinator! Shelby has lived in Fort McMurray nearly her whole life, and has spent her last 5 years working in the social profit sector supporting families. Shelby also loves yoga, travelling, reading, and cooking!
