The Canadian Index of Wellbeing Committee of Wood Buffalo is releasing the results on “The Wellbeing of Wood Buffalo” from the Canadian Index of Wellbeing survey that took place in 2019. The University of Waterloo will present the results for the Wood Buffalo survey in aZoom-webinar on May 29, 2020. The survey was conducted to understand better the quality of life of the residents of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
The Wood Buffalo region first completed the CIW Survey in 2014 at the height of economic growth for the region. With the significant changes that the region has faced in recent years, it is vital to understand residents’ current day-to-day life. The presentation will compare the survey results from 2014 to 2019 and will identify areas where residents are facing challenges with their wellbeing.
