Leaders who were used to leading in person have had to shift to working with their teams remotely, with little to no prior preparation. In order to lead effectively in this new environment, leaders must change some of their practices. This workshop presents the essential principles and best practices of remote leadership, while exploring potential pitfalls and opportunities that come from leading remotely.

What does it mean to make meaningful anti-racist organizational change? It means embracing DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and embedding the values within the scope of your mission, programs and clients. In this workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Anti-Racist Organizational Change (AROC) and how to reshape and redefine organizational change through the lens of anti-racism.

Learn to use Excel’s functionality to its fullest and data becomes stable and easily manageable. Calculating figures and reporting them is made easy and accurate and data analysis is taken to a whole new level.
In this 6 hour workshop (2 x 3hr sessions) we will cover how to get Excel working for you, to Sort and Subtotal your data into custom groups for clearer analysis and how to lay out your spreadsheet to maximize Excels powerful tools.

Starting your documents the correct way in Microsoft Word is essential. Using this powerful word processing program correctly at the beginning will pay dividends later on when you edit, add to, or customize the document. In this 6hr (2 x 3hr sessions) workshop we will cover how to effectively use the correct tools for the correct task in Word and how they will save you so much time.

For the more comprehensive user, Excel offers a whole raft of tools and functionality to help you: from advanced calculations, to data modelling tools and automation. In this 2-day workshop we will cover how to develop advanced and nested functions, build powerful PivotTables and PivotCharts, use the What-If group of tools and explore Dynamic Tables.

Join “Dare to Lead” trained coach, Alana Peters, in this workshop participants explore mindset strategies for sustainable leadership.
Cost: $30
In this workshop we will start to discover the techniques and methods used to create effective training presentations. We will also incorporate skills to help connect with, and influence an audience and learn how to present like a pro!

FuseSocial is proud to host the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo to do this training which is specific to our own region.
Based on local research with Wood Buffalo employers, the Multicultural Association’s cultural awareness workshops are geared towards increasing cross-cultural awareness and communication, knowledge of local demographics, awareness of cultural differences, understanding differences in team styles, and improving knowledge of religions in our community.
Cost: $10
In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn about the different elements of Microsoft 365, from the traditional Excel, Word and Outlook, and the newer elements like Teams and Stream. You’ll discover how to get as much benefit from 365 as you can in this new virtual environment.
