Survey #3 Published: Wildfire Impact on the Social Profit Sector in Wood Buffalo - April 27, 2017

FuseSocial is conducting a series of five surveys of the Wood Buffalo social profit sector to proactively identify organizational capacity needs so that they can be addressed. The third Wildfire Impact Survey has now been completed and the results are being made available to the public. One third of the questions in each survey has been carried forward across the series, but survey #3 focuses in on one of the major areas of concern identified by survey #1: HR Capacity. The two remaining surveys will be conducted and released at appropriate intervals to monitor the impact of the wildfire on long-term recovery.

Community Needs Assessment Report - March 10, 2017

FuseSocial collected several sources of information, including conducting a public-facing survey, to identify the most urgent community challenges post-wildfire. The purpose of this project was to initiate public engagement during the recovery process, while understanding the challenges facing the community, and identifying priority areas for the recovery effort.

Survey #2 Published: Wildfire Impact on the Social Profit Sector in Wood Buffalo - December 08, 2016

FuseSocial is conducting a series of five surveys of the Wood Buffalo social profit sector to proactively identify organizational capacity needs so that they can be addressed. The second Wildfire Impact Survey has now been completed and is being made available to the public. One third of the questions in each survey will be carried forward across the series, but survey #2 focuses in on one of the major areas of concern identified by survey #1: Financial Capacity. The remaining surveys will be conducted and released every 3 months throughout 2017.

This is a challenging time for the Wood Buffalo community following the devastating wildfires in May. In July 2016, FuseSocial conducted a survey of the Wood Buffalo social profit sector to proactively identify organizational capacity needs so that they can be addressed.

This survey is a snapshot of where the social profit sector is early in the recovery process. Over the next 18 months we will continue to monitor the capacity and ability of the sector to respond to the changing needs of the community.
